Idris Nasar’s journey into home care has been shaped by his family background and personal experiences. Growing up with a mother who became disabled after an accident, Idris witnessed firsthand the importance and challenges of quality care. With a father specialising in elder care, stroke, and Parkinson’s disease, and a mother who worked as a nurse, he was exposed to the healthcare sector from an early age.
As Managing Director of Walfinch Newcastle East, Idris leads with empathy, purpose, and a commitment to continual improvement. He fosters a culture of listening and learning, ensuring services evolve to meet the needs of clients and carers alike. For Idris, providing care is both an honour and a responsibility.
Kayleight Simpsons
Care Manager
Kayleigh is dedicated to making sure every client receives the highest standard of personalised care. She has extensive knowledge in supporting people with a wide range of needs, from dementia and complex health conditions to promoting independence and well-being at home.
Her role focuses on ensuring our care is safe, consistent and tailored to each individual, giving families confidence that their loved ones are in capable, compassionate hands. Kayleigh combines strong leadership with a warm, approachable nature, making her a trusted point of contact for clients, families and our care team alike.
Kyra Blackburn
Support Supervisor
Kyra is an essential part of our care leadership team, bringing practical experience from both home care and residential settings. She has risen from care assistant to supervisor, blending frontline insight with a calm, professional approach.
She has achieved her Level 3 NVQ in Adult Care and plays a crucial role in supporting our carers, leading spot checks, and helping the team uphold consistently high standards. Kyra is known for her approachability, reliability, and passion for doing the right thing, ensuring every client receives care they would be proud to offer their own family.
