Laura Woollard
Managing Director
Laura Woollard built her career in the catering and hospitality industry, running kitchens for top-class establishments before opening her own restaurant. She later moved into the care sector as a Chef Manager in local care homes, where she became known for going the extra mile to connect personally with residents.
She went on to manage recruitment and administration for another care company before co-founding Walfinch Southampton. Laura continues to be hands-on with caring duties, which allows her to train new carers effectively and stay connected to the needs of clients. Her approach emphasises the importance of the human element in care, ensuring compassion, professionalism, and dignity are at the heart of Walfinch Southampton.
Angela Harding
Managing Director and Registered Manager
Angela Harding has worked in the care sector for more than 22 years, gaining extensive experience across community, residential, and nursing home settings. She holds a Level 5 QCF in Leadership & Management, is an End of Life and Dementia Champion, and is currently studying towards a Level 7 QCF in Senior Leadership.
Her dedication to quality care has previously contributed to services achieving Outstanding CQC ratings, and she remains committed to delivering person-centred care of the highest standard. Angela believes that trusted relationships are key to supporting clients to live independently and with dignity at home. As Director of Walfinch Southampton, she empowers her team to deliver compassionate, professional care that truly makes a difference.
